6 .SLT Information (10 minutes):
A few reminders:
- School Leadership Teams (SLTs), will need to be in-person unless the bylaws were changed last year to indicate a hybrid meeting,
- Notice of the date, time of any SLT meeting must be made public 10 days before the meeting.
Meeting Attendance
School Leadership Team members are expected to attend all meetings. If team members are unable to attend the meeting, they must contact the Chairperson in advance of the meeting.
Due to the need of physical quorum being met, all members must attend meetings in person, unless such member is unable to be physically present at due to extraordinary circumstances including disability, illness, caregiving responsibilities, or any other
significant or unexpected factor or event which precludes the member’s physical attendance at such meeting.
If a member is unable to be physically present at and wishes to participate by videoconferencing from a private location due to extraordinary circumstances, the member must notify the School Leadership Team Chairperson.
Except in the case of executive sessions conducted pursuant to POL § 105, the School Leadership Team shall ensure that its members can be heard, seen, and identified while the meeting is being conducted, including but not limited to any motions, proposals, consensus making decisions and any other matter formally discussed.
This shall include the use of first and last name placards physically placed in front of the members or, for members participating by videoconferencing from private locations due to extraordinary circumstances, such members must ensure that their full first and last name appears on their videoconferencing screen.
Videoconferencing requires that any meeting where a member attends by videoconference be recorded, posted to the insert school webpage within five business days, and transcribed upon request.

8. CEP Goals for 2024/2025 (10 minutes)
- By June 2025, Elementary School ELA data for all students scoring at Levels 3 & 4 will increase 3%, from 53% to 56%. The measurement tool will be the NYS ELA exam results.
- By June 2025, Elementary School Math data for all students scoring at Levels 3 & 4 will increase 3% from 50% to 53% The measurement tool will be the NYS Math exam results.
- By June 2025, physical and mental wellness for All Students will improve, as measured by a 5% increase, in percentage of students who feel safe in this school and have at least one adult they can talk to from 85% to 90%, per the Internal Student Survey Data.
- By June 2025, the percentage of students achieving an average academic lesson score greater than 70% for All Students will Increase by 10% from 16% to 26% as measured by Beable average academic lesson score.
- By June 2025, the number of parents/families attending in school workshops will increase by 4.5% from 1.5% to 6% as measured by Parent Workshop Attendance Reports.
- By June 2025, the Chronic Absenteeism Rate for All Students will decrease by 6%, from 31% to 25%, as measured by the Insight Data Dashboard Chronic Absenteeism Reports.
- By June 2025, we will improve the quality of measurable annual goals that explicitly indicate observable skills, how the demonstration of skills are assessed and the timeline that facilitate adjustment to instruction of skills by an increase of 14%, from 71% to 85%, as measured by IEP Review Checklist, IEP Review Protocol and the Measurable Annual Goals Progress Monitoring Report.

Priority Focus for the 2024/2025 Year: Build teachers’ capacity to plan for cognitively engaging tasks that are differentiated, rigorous, and promote student agency in literacy instruction.
